Comfort / Vintage Hybrid Cycles
These traditional styled
cycles have become very popular. As the name suggests comfort hybrid
cycles are designed so the rider can enjoy a comfortable, leisurely
ride. They feature semi or fully curved handlebars, so the rider sits
in an upright riding position on a soft padded
saddle (some are sprung too). They are fitted with medium width tyres, making them easier to
ride on the road than mountain bikes, but still suitable for use on
gravel paths, old railway lines etc. They are mostly equipped with six
or seven gears, simply operated with one gear shifter. Mudguards and
chainguards are fitted and some models include a rack and propstand
too. Many include a basket or one
can easily be supplied and fitted at Soren's Cycles. Like all bikes sold at Soren's Cycles, they are
supplied fully assembled and ready to ride. Please don't hesitate to
